The curriculum is based on the Pre-primary Education Curriculum Guide. It is tailored to meet the needs of early childhood development and is designed around child-centered principles which are suitable and flexible. Learning content combines life experience with the children’s interests. It also provides diversified learning, encourages exploration and problem-solving abilities.
Teachers choose a suitable and safe environment for children to play freely and choose a variety of toys according to their preferences, abilities, and life experiences, invite playmates, and design gameplay to increase the fun of the game and present children’s imagination and knowledge of things around them.
By discussing the theme together, children can take the initiative to find answers to the problems they find. During the process, children have more opportunities to express their opinions, cooperate with peers and share their achievements, etc., so as to cultivate a positive learning attitude and self-learning spirit.
In order to cultivate children’s awareness of environmental protection, environmental concepts are incorporated into the curriculum, and children are taught to use environmental materials for creative work, recycle materials for waste separation, reduce the use of disposable items, etc. Environmental talks, workshops, and parent-child environmental design activities are also organized to bring the message of environmental protection into every family and let us enjoy the resources of the earth.
